Script Builder ("Script Builder," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you visit rescriptbuilder.com or create and use a Script Builder account (the "Services").

1. Our privacy commitment

Script Builder helps real-estate agents prepare for and run buyer consultations, organize client Workspaces, and research property information. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising pixels or targeted-advertising tools.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create or use an account, we collect your email address, sign-in information, and profile details you choose to save, such as your name, brokerage, branding, and profile image.

Client and Workspace information

Agents may enter client and transaction information into Script Builder, such as client names, contact details, property information, consultation notes, follow-up details, and other Workspace facts. You are responsible for the information you choose to submit and for having any permission you need to enter it.

AI-assisted features, voice, and documents

When you use Conversation Tools, consultation preparation, follow-up drafts, document extraction, or another AI-assisted feature, we process your request text, relevant conversation history, and the Workspace context needed for that feature. If you use the optional voice feature, the recording you submit is processed to produce a text transcription; we do not keep the raw audio after transcription. Uploaded documents are processed to extract information, which goes through Script Builder's review workflow before it is treated as verified.

Research information

Script Builder may generate and display property research, source information, and verification dates related to your searches.

Support and usage information

If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond. We also collect basic technical information needed to run and secure the Services, such as browser type, device type, and diagnostic data, and — only if you allow analytics — the usage information described in Section 3.

Payments

Script Builder does not currently operate a live checkout or payment-processor integration. We will update this Policy before enabling live payment processing.

3. Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

We use essential browser storage (cookies, local storage, and session storage) to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences, and record your cookie choice. Blocking essential storage may stop parts of the Services from working.

Optional analytics are provided by PostHog and are opt-in only. Nothing from PostHog loads until you choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page. Choosing "Essential only" stops analytics and clears PostHog identifiers stored in your browser.

If you allow analytics, PostHog may record page views, feature interactions, and performance information. Session replay is never recorded on signed-in or client-data pages, including Workspaces, consultations, property research, account, admin, and sign-in pages. Where replay can run on public pages, rendered text and form inputs are masked. Analytics data has query strings removed from URLs, Workspace and client identifiers are stripped, and signed-in activity is linked only to an internal account ID, not your email address.

4. How we use information

provide, maintain, and secure the Services and your account;
run the consultation, Workspace, research, and AI-assisted features you choose to use;
respond to support and privacy requests;
understand and improve the Services, where you have allowed analytics;
prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
comply with law and enforce our Terms.

5. How we share information

We share information only as described here or as required by law:

Hosting and infrastructure providers that host the application, database, and sign-in services on our behalf.
AI processing: AI-assisted requests are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes applicable requests to OpenAI and Google models to generate responses, transcriptions, and document extractions. Lovable has confirmed it does not use Script Builder end-user data submitted through Script Builder to train its AI models.
PostHog, for analytics only if you allow it.
Legal, safety, and business-transfer recipients where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction.

6. Data retention and deleted Workspaces

We keep account and Workspace information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes.

When you delete a Workspace, the Workspace and its associated Workspace records (such as saved facts, contacts, notes, follow-ups, linked conversations and outputs, and tracked research) are permanently removed immediately after you confirm. Deleted Workspaces cannot be restored, so export a Workspace first if you want to keep a copy.

Permanent removal from the live application does not immediately remove information from provider-managed backups or records we must keep for legal or security reasons; those are not used to restore deleted Workspaces.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including account-based access controls designed to keep each user's Workspace and client information separated. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information associated with your account. Script Builder does not currently offer a self-service data download or account-deletion feature. To make a request, email hello@rescriptbuilder.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and the email address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children and changes to this Policy

The Services are intended for adult professionals and are not directed to children. We may update this Policy as the Services change; when we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
